At Loctax we're looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to join our team.

What is Loctax? 

We are the first-ever B2B SaaS collaborative tax governance platform.

By bringing together internal and external stakeholders, Loctax helps to achieve full control over tax risks, compliance, advisory projects, audits and other tax responsibilities. It empowers multinational companies to digitalise their tax function and to communicate clearly about their total tax contribution.

Your Role

Loctax is on a mission to change how tax teams work. As our new senior product manager, you will be defining a new product category in the global tax governance space by building the very first real global tax governance platform.

You will liaise directly with users, industry experts and stakeholders across the company, to help understand and describe our goals, define requirements, lead discussions, and move initiatives forward.

We are looking for someone that operates well in a fast-moving environment, who can balance higher-level brainstorming with detailed specifications, and that appreciates the nuances required when building an Enterprise SaaS solution for the complex tax industry.

You will be responsible for

• Driving the product life cycle from problem identification to launch to evaluation

• Juggle between big vision impact features and quick wins that drive adoption and retention

• Determining goals and features you own, so your team (1 designer and 4 engineers) has a clear understanding of the scope

• Managing the product backlog

• Working closely with the head of product to refine and improve the product development process

• Acting as the main point of contact for any queries about the product roadmap or specific projects; quickly identify root causes, provide solutions and communicate clear explanations to other departments

• Writing technical specs and detailed requirements as necessary

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a product manager.

• Built tax or accounting products as a product manager, in-house tax subject matter expert or tax consultant.

• A proven track record of shipping products/features

• Passionate about what you do and have a strong desire to build great products.

• You feel comfortable in a very fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders of all levels

Bonus Qualifications

• Successfully worked in a remote-first environment, comfortable working in an asynchronous, distributed team experience with (early-stage) Enterprise SaaS product management

• Founded your own startup

• Have side hustles/projects you’re passionate about
