We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director, with a proven background in enterprise SAAS sales, to lead our sales efforts.
What is Loctax?
We are the first-ever B2B SaaS collaborative tax governance platform.
By bringing together internal and external stakeholders, Loctax helps to achieve full control over tax risks, compliance, advisory projects, audits and other tax responsibilities. The Role
This is a fantastic and unique opportunity for an individual with a sales B2B Enterprise SaaS background, with experience in a fast-paced startup or scaleup, to step into Loctax and help to accelerate our growth 🚀.
You'll be the first Sales Director within the team and a founding member of the Sales function at Loctax. Being an early-stage startup we are still building out our sales methodology. This is a position that holds a lot of responsibility together with a lot of creative freedom to develop and define Loctax’s sales process.
You will work closely with and report to the CEO where you will get stuck in on all aspects of the sales process, from developing a lead to closing a deal. In addition, you will work closely with the CEO and other departments, in developing and designing the overall Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy as well as the co-creation of our sales collateral and sales playbook.
Responsibilities
Ensure that the company meets its stipulated growth goals.
Owning the full sales process, from developing a lead, to closing a deal, to renewing and upselling. You’ll be comfortable owning and exceeding your sales target.
Develop strategies to ensure effective prospecting, upsell/cross-selling and pipeline development.
Comfortable in assisting with the creation of our sales collateral and the sales playbook, including pricing.
Developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve/exceed sales targets and expand our customer base
Working with our CEO to create/improve the optimal Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, including the right sales messaging: product positioning, unique value proposition, elevator pitch and differentiation.
Creation of a repeatable and consistent sales process.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and partner relationships.
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
Not being afraid of trying new ways of working and different strategies is a key element of this role.
Skills
5+ years of experience growing pipelines and selling enterprise B2B SAAS solutions.
Consistent track record of success and history of quota attainment in consultative sales environments.
You’ll be the type of person who thrives in an early-stage environment where everybody is learning and the processes are iterative.
You have proven sales experience in an early-stage B2B SAAS startup, including meeting or exceeding targets.
You have previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director, with demonstrable experience developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
You have strong experience in the world of startup/scaleup environments and you will be used to the fast-paced nature of it.
You have experience working for a newly created sales team and the trepidations that come with it
You will have a real hunger to achieve massive success and an unrelenting bias for action, which is one of our main values.
You have the ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
You have proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
You have a proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
A willingness to travel to Belgium to work closely with our CEO and our Chief Tax Officer on a monthly basis
CET +/- 2 hours is a must-have requirement for this position.
